Cross-Cultural Ministry Participation

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a minimum of 10 hours of cross cultural ministry throughout the weeks of the semester. Suggested ministries in the Southern California area include:

For those of you not in the Southern California area, please feel free to e-mail the professor about the organizations in your area that you are interested in. Make contact with these organizations early in the semester, as it may take some time to get involved with them.

At the completion of your ministry participation, write a 3-5 page paper addressing the following:

  • How was this ministry different from ministries you have been a part of in the past?
  • How has this experience personally impacted you?
  • What did you learn about ministry through these experiences?

In addition, your paper should include a single-spaced appendix. List the dates and hours you participated in ministry. Provide a short summary of what you did on each date you participated.

Submit your paper as a Word document to Canvas by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
